Borrowing a page from a magazine I've decided to come up with a list of "it's okays." Feel free to add yours.
It's okay to want to reschedule family photos because your nose has a sore on it from all of the blowing. You know that sore isn't going to heal in four days.
It's okay to be brain-dead at 2:00 in the afternoon and refuse to do anything productive for at least an hour.
It's okay to bend, squat and do lunges to get your jeans on (should have thought about that last night before I decided eating my entire meal was a good idea).
It's okay to expect hubby to shower before he comes anywhere near you after working out, but to expect him to want to be around you with your runny nose, coughing and vicks vapor rub on in full force.
It's okay to DVR mindless stupid shows on TV and race home so you can watch them after work.
It's okay to get mad at the postman when he brings more bills than Christmas cards.
It's okay to pretend you don't speak English when a telemarketer calls.
It's okay to think you shouldn't have to make a donation to the college you graduated from in order to get basketball season tickets. You donated plenty of money to them the five years you went to school there.
It's okay to outsmart the system and mooch off of others for their unused basketball tickets.
It's okay to visit Target at least three times a week. You've made friends with the cashiers. They'd probably miss you if you weren't there.
It's okay to look at photos in a magazine and tell yourself the models don't really look that way. Hello photoshop!
It's okay to make chocolate chip cookies to "share" and eat all but two of them.
It's okay to watch work-out tapes while sitting on the couch eating popcorn. (LoB that one's for you!)
It's okay if your gift wrap doesn't match your ribbon. Actually- that one isn't okay for me, but I thought I would put it out there for everyone else.
It's okay to check Facebook compulsively to see if any of your "friends" have updated their status, photos or profiles.
