1. Select a glider at Babies R Us. Order it. Find it cheaper at Target.com, cancel Babies R Us order, change your mind and eventually order a totally different glider from Target.com.
2. Glider arrives on a Thursday. Six days later it is still sitting on the front porch.
3. Blog/ complain about the amount of time it is taking Honeybun to put the glider together.
4. Take bets on the day the glider will either get stolen from the front porch or brought in by Honeybun. (Note: We were not betting on the actual putting together of the glider, just bringing the box inside.)
5. Give Jack a bath, nurse him and listen to the sound of the glider being brought into the living room.
6. Sit in absolute shock, amazement and awe.
7. Be happy you picked the correct day for the bet and revel in your win. (Never mind the fact I was the only one betting.)
8. Prepare for the plethora of nasty remarks and/ or curse words coming from the living room.
9. Put Jack to bed.
10. Walk into the living room and find the final product put together without so much of a grunt or groan from the workhorse.
11. Contain your smirk when Honeybun announces, "If I knew it would be that easy to put together I would have a long time ago." I seem to remember telling him the reviews said it was easy to put together. Maybe a comment by a 8 month pregnant woman who said it took her 30 minutes by herself?
12. Jack wakes up. Test out the new glider in it's new home in Jack's room. Works like a charm. Baby is sleeping and Mama is happy.
